Galleries of photos taken on set
ONCE A YEAR
Once a year, by Audrey Gordon, is the first documentary feature I've worked on. Those photos were taken during the first session, in july 2016.
TALK WITH A STRANGER
Talk with a Stranger is a music video for the band Midnight Locomotiv, directed by Fabio Caldironi. We had fun working in very particular set : an 81 bulbs and mirror corridor, an neon tube scene and a spaceship..!
Midnight Poetry is a short by Emilie Boyard. I was Cinematographer and Still Photographer on set. Those photographies are taken with my Canon A1 and some Ektar and Kodak color films.
Happy is a short by Laura Dudgeon on which I was cinematographer in October 2014. I took a few photographies with my Canon A1 but the shoot was mainly an opportunity for me to try for the first time my Nikonos underwater Camera.
LÉCHEZ-NOUS, MIAOU MIAOU
Lèchez-nous, miaou miou is a short by Marie Demaricourt on which I was camera assisting in March 2015. I also did the grading of the movie in Geneva in April 2015.
For those stills, I was using a Yashica 35-ME (all automatic with 4 points of focus) and some pushed lomography films.
It was a weird exercice to do photography (particularly portrait) with that kind of camera, without any control on how to expose the film. The most frustrating part was the focus, this is why it is never perfectly focused, which gives a bit of a strange feeling.
A DOCO IN AFTRS
From February to June 2014, I did the first semester of the Masters of Screen Arts in AFTRS (Sydney), and my friend Diva from the Graduate Diploma asked me to do some pictures of her work as a Production Designer on Ella Rubeli's documentary.
Check out here my pictures and the movie I made out of them from the set of Gallipoli, an australian TV Series directed by Glendyn Ivin.
